GENERAL

1. ecWrongServer [Log]

2. Clicked on a received meeting request in the Message list and after that all other mails show "Unable to retrieve message".

MAPI Account Setup

1. When Authentication is failed there is no authentication failure notification or pop-up to the user. For example when a wrong network address is given or wrong password given.
2. Sometimes when I press the Authenticate button in Receiving Email frame, it does not ask me for a password. But Forward button is enabled. This I think happens when a previous MAPI account is deleted and another MAPI account need to be created.
3. Once the account is created, Evo needs to be restarted for expanding the MAPI account in the Mail Folder tree. This issue is also seen when changing from offline to online mode.
4. Give a wrong server address and try to authenticate, it takes about 1 minute to time out. During this period the GUI seems like hung. Instead a progress bar would be a better indication to the user.

MAILER

1. Folders being fetched every time when switching between folders. [Fixed]
2. (evolution:3493): camel-WARNING **: Class 'CamelMapiFolder' doesn't have 'CamelFolderSummary' in its hierarchy [Fixed]
3. Evo hangs when EDS is started in gdb.
   • not seen with the new builds
4. Send new mails, reply to mails, forward mails Evo crashes.
   • not seen with the new builds
5. Message previews does not show the subject.
   • Fixed in rev 9129
6. Message body is lost once switching the folders. Once the cache is removed body of the message for the first time. [Fixed]
7. Message Filters does not work.
8. Some of the text file attachments are not recognized properly in the received mail.
9. Folder properties not shown correctly [Fixed]
10. Evo crashed when clicked on cancel button in Folder Properties window. [Traces]
11. Mark as junk is not moved to Junk Email folder. But removed from the original folder.(loss of data)
12. Junk meta files are getting created on my home folder. [Fixed]
13. Disable a second account Evo crashed. [Traces]
    • [NEEDINFO] What you mean by "second account" ?
14. Reported bug Seven : I have an issue if i would close evolution. "You have unsent messages, do you wish to quit anyway?" but i could not found an unsent email in outbox ?
15. Received mails or reply-to composer messages do not show proper mail-IDs.
16. [frequently and randomly occurring issue] in the 'To' field, if the recipients are specified without a space before and after the comma, the mail is not sent.
17. Mail when sent to recipients not in GAL, Evo crashes [Traces]
18. Evo crashes (randomly) on clicking a meeting-related message [Traces] - it appears to be due to some threading issue.

ADDRESSBOOK

1. Autocompletion Prefereces are not by default set.
2. Not able to create contacts in Exchange address book.
3. EDS crash [Traces]
4. EDS crashes when creating meetings due to addressbook [Traces]
5. (Suman) I have seen several crashes with the following messages on terminal. when it starts happening - it is unusable. the messages:

 Cache is 1
 Cache is populated, check if refresh is required

CALENDARS/MEMOS/TASKS

Critical/Major

1. Fetching and loading Calendar items takes a long time for the first time. During this period Evolution UI seems to be hung.
2. EDS crashed when saving a memo in newly created memo list. [Traces] [see FIX here]
3. Delta Fetch (changes from outlook) do not reflect in Evolution even after refresh. [make sure the server UTC time is synced to your machine's UTC time - I've filed a bug in LibMAPI to fetch server time]
4. Adding meeting recipients which are not in GAL EDS crashed [Traces] - external recipients don't get saved.
5. Tasks don't work at all. [bug in LibMAPI - GetProps doesn't work on a Tasks folder - we now use GetPropsAll for task-folders]
6. Not all types of files can be attached (image, etc.,)

Normal/Minor

1. Does not show the name of Attachments in the meetings. (transient behavior) [This is fixed (hack)]
2. When Calendar cache is corrupted the error message popped does not give proper information. [AI: Request for proper string from Radhika]
3. Evo crashed when tried to enable the Exchange calendar for copying contents for offline operation (not reproducible) [Traces]

Feature requests

1. Create Memos with attachments does not work. [this is a WONTFIX]
2. Meeting Notification forward -- Not handled. [Traces]
3. Recurrence support for appointments/meetings.

Issues present in the plugin RPM but fixed in branch

1. Send or modify meeting with attachment, EDS crashes. Meetings get created, but are not sent to recipients. [Traces]
2. Appointments or Meetings when created with attachments, the attachments are not visible.
3. Send Meetings Evolution gives error "Unable to book"
4. Evo Crashed when dragged the bottom border of a meeting to modify the duration [Traces] [the fix for "Unable to book" resolves this issue]
